All-New Nissan Micra
100% Electric

A teasing, full-CGI campaign in refreshing blue, crafted for the iconic Japanese brand to showcase the smart design and high-performance features of the latest Micra.

In May 2025, we teamed up with Passion Paris and Nissan United to embark on an thrilling creative journey that led to three vibrant months of full-CGI production. The goal: to introduce and celebrate the brand-new Nissan Micra 2025. The campaign unfolds across four films and a wide collection of key visuals and static assets, each highlighting a different strength — from its bold design to next-generation fast charging and smart connectivity.

All these elements come together through a storytelling approach filled with energy and imagination. Each frame, immersed in the distinctive blue tones of the Micra’s visual identity, was crafted to express clarity, freshness, and contemporary elegance, all radiating a light-hearted, optimistic essence. Here’s a selection of our favourites.

Design

The design film leans into striking circular motifs, echoing everything from the distinctive headlights to paparazzi flashbulbs, giving the Micra a charismatic and confident presence.

Connectivity

The connectivity film embraces a game-like narrative, where the vehicle collects apps much like rings in a video game, showcasing how seamlessly the digital ecosystem enhances the driving experience.

Fast Charging

The fast charging film places viewers inside a lively, pinball-inspired universe, using this whimsical environment to symbolize agility, precision, and the thrill of extra-quick charging process plus long-distance driving made possible by its impressive 400-kilometer range.

Taken together, these films transform technical features into fresh visual metaphors, positioning the Micra as a genuine yet forward-thinking car.

Portrayed from every possible angle, the car remains the undeniable star of every frame. It drives through glowing light tunnels, strikes a pose for the paparazzi like a diva, stands on a podium beneath a disco ball, and smoothly drives from one charging station to another, always the protagonist, proudly showcasing its prismatic soul.

Transitions are upbeat and impactful, combining immersive camera movements with dynamic shifts in focal length. At times, elements of the car itself — such as the rearview mirror or windows — are cleverly used to link the various scenes. The animation follows a spirited, rhythmic pace that mirrors the vibe of Lizzo’s single “Juice”, the soundtrack featured across all the films.

To communicate a future-ready icon, all it takes is the right mix of flair and fizz.

The vehicle dynamically moves across the scenes, rendered with a high level of detail: sharp, vibrant, with carefully crafted materials and lighting. The environments follow a blue monochrome palette, accented by occasional glossy reflections, and are designed to be minimalistic yet elegant, seamlessly aligned with the new Micra’s visual identity. The overall mood is laid-back and uplifting, steering clear of dramatic shadows in favor of a smoother, more radiant atmosphere.

Process

Fresh, explosive, unexpected, quirky, unique, teasing, witty, iconic, catchy, amusing, electric, vibrant, memorable, loud, and surprising: just a few of the keywords guiding our research during the initial phase.

The early development stages were a true burst of exuberance and pure energy, where we pushed the car’s disruptive personality to its limits. Here’s a collection of frames and animations that celebrate the new Micra as a perfect blend of radiance and originality.

The animation moves with an expressive, rhythmic flow, echoing the energy of Lizzo’s “Juice”, which inspired the overall tone of the production.

The early animation tests, carried out on an older 3D model of the car, explored the many facets of the Micra’s personality. During this research phase, for instance, we experimented with imaginative worlds inspired by video games like Sonic, where the car dashed through, collecting app icons like the hedgehog’s iconic golden rings. At the same time, we worked to shape a genuine quirky language for the vehicle, something that would go beyond the qualities of an ordinary vehicle.

Another universe we tapped into was the pinball world, a visual playground that, at the beginning of the production, strongly shaped the EV Technology concept. Gleaming rails, flashing signals, cascades of LED color, and bumper-car energy turned this direction into a pop, exuberant ride, perfectly in tune with the spirited vibe shared by the agency.

We built our approach around a mood of positivity: the new Micra is cheerful, spontaneous, and enjoyable to drive.
